I always thought that she was never cute enough for him and they didn't work well together (not to mention the fact that she is a terrible over actress and I couldn't stand her and her whining). See for yourself:
he's gorgeous. although he was a terrible actor as well... i forgave him really fast ;)

oh i used to love 7th Heaven so much. he was definitely cast for his looks though. i always thought both of them were pretty terrible actors but he's certainly easy on the eyes.
